Did you know that this purse has a story? Read a note from the designer below:
In 2006, as a precocious 22-year-old, a friend and I decided to hop on a plane to Deli, India without an agenda. No hotel reservations, no one to pick us up from the airport, just two girls dropped in the middle of a crazy, intense, and intoxicating city. I thank my lucky stars that we met wonderful people and created amazing memories that will last a lifetime.
One of my favorite souvenirs from this trip was a gorgeous red sari. I purchased this sari in Deli and it traveled around with me to dozens of cities in my big yellow backpack. Then it made the journey home to Iowa and subsequently traveled with me when I moved to Colorado. I have cherished this beautiful souvenir for almost 7 years now and I finally made the decision that I should let this sari travel once again within my leather creations.
This super soft leather clutch is the first creation to feature this beautiful fabric lining. It is 9.75in tall by 9in wide with navy blue leather. It has a lovely white YKK organic cotton zipper, and it is machine stitched with insanely strong nylon cord.
All of my bags and patterns are handmade by me in my house in Denver, Colorado. This item is handmade but not saddle stitched.
Thanks for looking!
